Corpus Christi Freightliner has been manufacturing of heavy andmedium duty trucks since 1967. They were looking for some additional space intheir service department for storing shop toolsand equipment. As they had already maximizedthe floor space of their facility, Corpus Christi Freightliner contactedThe Mezzanine Company about a mezzanine solution.
Some challenges we had to work around were:
The Mezzanine Company worked closely with Corpus ChristiFreightliner to come up with a design for a storage platform mezzanine thatwould serve their unique needs. We proposed an approximate 650 square footplatform. The mezzanine included a straight run staircase for employee access.
Additionally, the mezzanine was designed to cantilever severalfeet along one section, so as to keep the columns away from the wall and enableus to work around the obstructions.
Once the proposal was approved, we sent our local Texas representativeto review the layout drawings with the customer to get the final approval.
Once the mezzanine was out of production, we arranged for a promptdelivery the week preceding the install weekend. The mezzanine was installed asplanned, and on time, with minimum interruption to operations.
Jason Graham from Corpus Christi Freightliner had this tosay about us. “The materials arrivedcompletely painted and ready to assemble. The installers were very professionand tried their best not to disrupt normal business. I would recommend TheMezzanine Company to anyone considering installing a mezzanine.”
