The Mezzanine Company is always looking for a new and uniquechallenge, and most recently, that came in the form of a request from SeemannComposite.
Seeman Composites is an advanced composites manufacturerlocated in Gulfport, Mississippi. They were in need of a mezzanine for the dualpurpose of serving as a work platform to support a manufacturing process attheir facility and also to provide storage space. Some challenges that thisproject presented were:
The Mezzanine Company worked closely with Seemann Composites to come up with a design for a work platform mezzanine that would serve their unique needs. We presented Seemann Composites with a proposal for an approximately 2,400 square foot 4 level mezzanine.
The mezzanine was engineered for each level to match specific access heights as required for the customer’s manufacturing process. Each level of the mezzanine included 2 double-swing gates in order to provide easy access for loading materials.
Additionally, the 4th level of the mezzanine was specifically engineered to have the ability to be removed without having an effect on the rest of the mezzanine. This provided Seemann Composites with the flexibility they needed for future use of the mezzanine.
Once the proposal was accepted, a project manager from The Mezzanine Company made a site visit to their facility and made final design adjustments. As the shipment date was approaching, we worked closely with Seeman Composites and our installation team to target an ideal installation date. Within approximately 2 weeks of delivery, the installation was complete and Seeman Composites was ready to go with their new platform.
Lee Ryan, from Seeman Composites, had this to say about The Mezzanine Company; “The professionalism of The Mezzanine Company’s employees, and exceptional program management is outstanding. They have been professional, courteous, thorough, and flexible to meet our needs. If an opportunity arises, I would absolutely use The Mezzanine Company’s services again.”
