JoiningTechnologies is a “leading North Americanprovider of the latest in precision laser welding technology, electron beam(EB) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) technologies, supply chain managementand machining services.”

At the end of 2015, we worked with Joining Technologies on ourfirst mezzanine project together. It was a big success and, not long aftercompletion, they reached out to us again for another mezzanine structure.

As with their previous project, they were tight on space attheir facility and needed more room to expand in order to accommodate theirbusiness growth. They were looking for a platform for storage of materials andlaser machines.

Working off ofa CAD design provided by the client, we were able to provide a proposal for an800 square foot mezzanine. The mezzanine would also include an IBC staircase toprovide necessary access.

Additionally, since the mezzanine would need to fit against twoexisting walls with building columns, the mezzanine had to be custom designedwith cutouts to accommodate these obstructions.

Once the mezzanine was ready for shipment and delivery, wecoordinated everything with our experienced installer to provide a quickinstallation. Once the installation was completed, the customer installed theirown special modular walls above and below to fully enclose the mezzanine.
