Brock Solutions, a company “specializing in the design, build and implementation of real-time solutions for broad based industrial/manufacturing and transportation/logistics organizations globally,” was looking for some additional space in their workspace. They had already maximized the floor space of their facility, and they came to us for help to create some additional space for storage, an office, and general working space.
Additionally, they needed a solution that could be implemented within a quick timeline, and with a minimum impact to their daily workflow.
Also, they wanted something that had the potential for future expansion for continued growth.
Brock Solutions contacted The Mezzanine Company about a mezzanine solution.
One of our representatives was able to quote the project using a drawing that Brock Solutions provided. We proposed an approximate 1,200 square foot platform. The mezzanine included a straight run staircase and a double swing gate for moving items off and on the mezzanine. The mezzanine was also specially designed for future expansion.
Additionally, we proposed a 10’ x 10’ modular office for on top of the mezzanine, to serve as their required office space. Some of the modular office’s features included double pane insulated sliding window and a modular electric system with power outlets and light fixtures.
Once the proposal was approved, we sent our local Texas representative to review the layout drawings with the customer to get the final approval.
We worked closely with the manufacturer to pre-book the production slot so that we could meet Brock Solutions’ tight timeline. Also, in order to avoid impact to their workflow, we scheduled the installation for a weekend.
Once the mezzanine was out of production, we arranged for a prompt delivery the week preceding the install weekend. The mezzanine and office were installed as planned, and on time, leading to a successful close to this project.
